Intimate Events

When we celebrate life’s most exciting milestones, sometimes the party is too big or too exhausting to host at home. Arlington Abbey is here to help! NO celebration or event is too small. We provide the space, and you bring the fun. Some restrictions will apply regarding advance booking and event times. Please call or contact us for details.

Due to Covid-19, we have found creative ways to gather safely. Arlington Abbey is a church, we are not subject to many of the restrictions imposed on others. Your shower, celebration, or party can be held outside. Your guests can drive up to deliver a gift and chat awhile. You can be the honoree while sitting on our covered front porch to accept gifts and good wishes, or have it indoors in our lovely reception room with lots of space to spare- "it is your day, so have it your way! " There are some really cool ways to serve food to a group these days. Prepackaged food boxes can be matched to your theme, or your servers can serve a buffet “cafeteria-style” so that the guests don’t have to touch anything but their own food & beverage. Whatever the challenge, we can find a way to make it work for you. We encourage all guests to wash their hands on arrival, and during the event and you, as host, can set the tone regarding the precautions that fit your needs. Masks and hand sanitizers can be made fun for special events- we just have to be creative and flexible. Keep in mind that knowing the exact guest count is critical, so keeping up with RSVP’s is a must. We have many creative ways to keep up with your details and are ready to help make your event a success.

Baby Showers and Reveal Parties

Arlington Abbey has several options as the perfect setting for your upcoming baby shower! Have it in The Hall with plenty of room to spread out, or a “drive-in” shower can be held on our lawn or front porch. You set the tone regarding just how much contact the Mom to Be will have with the guests.

Bridal Showers

When it is time to celebrate the Bride and shower her with gifts to help at the start of her new life, Arlington Abbey has the perfect space to host the celebration. The Hall easily holds 50-100 guests with lots of room for guests, food, and gifts.

Birthday, Anniversary and Graduation Parties

Arlington Abbey can offer you the convenience of having your party in a place that is easy to customize for your event. Our large kitchen and ample parking make it easy to plan your event and keep your guests happy.

Family Reunions

We all love to get the Family together to catch up and spend some time together. The problem is where to host the party. It is hard to get a lot of guests into one person’s home, so Arlington Abbey is a great option for hosting your gathering. We even have outdoor space where games and picnics can be easily set up. It is our pleasure to help you bring you, family, together for an event that is memorable for all.

Sports Events Celebrations

When the season is over and it is time to give the awards, it is nice to be able to get away for campus and have the banquet in a room that is made for this purpose. Your team or group is welcome to bring in the food and décor of your choice as you honor the players and coaches for a season well done.

Religious Ceremonies

Sometimes, we all need a larger space for special events. Arlington Abbey is available to host Christenings, Memorial Services, Pastor Appreciation Banquets, Revivals, and more. Just describe your special event to our Event Manager and she can give you options and work with your vendors to make the day go smoothly.
